New Amazon Kindle Fire HDX to be equipped with Snapdragon 805 processor for better performance

After a good business with the Kindle Fire HDX we recently came to know that the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX is all set to be updated with a newer and faster Snapdragon 805 processor. Amazon recently made a good reputation in the mobile market with their latest Fire Phone. But the Fire Phone is not the only one with high end specification of hardware. According to the Antutu database, the Kindle Fire HDX will also be revamped with new hardware that is supposed to make the device smoother and lightning fast. The new hardware changes are supposed to take the device to a higher level with performance in consideration.

Upgrading hardware of devices is not a new move of tech giants. In fact it has become a trend to upgrade the specifications of hardware and software of their flagship over the time in the gadget industries these days. So, why should Amazon lack behind? The released Antutu database revealed that the new version of Amazon Kindle Fire HDX will be updated with a 2.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 805 SoC processor and a much better Adreno 420 GPU for the graphics. This a huge update is supposed to make noticeable changes of performance compared to the current version of Amazon Kindle Fire HDX which runs on a Snapdragon 800 SoC processor and the fairly common Adreno 330 GPU.
With these changes the new device is expected to be much faster than its current version. It has been revealed that the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 2014 version will sport a larger 8.9 inch display with a resolution of 1600 x 2560 which is sure to give a crisp and clear display. Also there will be 2GB RAM and 8 MP primary camera on board with a 1 MP front secondary camera from which we do not expect any good quality pictures though but it should suffice for decent video chat. Other specs were about remain the same as the current version, however it has been rumoured that it will come with the latest Android Kitkat 4.4.4 out of the box. Although there is no news about when the updated new Amazon Kindle Fire HDX with Snapdragon 805 processor will be released but based on intuitions it will probably be out by the end of this year.

Motorola Moto X+1 photos has been leaked

Could this be the new Motorola Moto X+1 ? Last year on August the Moto X made its way to the global mobile market, and based on the yearly cycle of mobile launching it seems logical that the rumored Moto X+1 is on the verge of a release. The photos that you are seeing have been released by “Android Police” and claim it to be the near final prototype of the new Motorola flagship.
The Moto X+1 is expected to look like the current Moto X and features the custom wooden back cover. The leaked photos reveals a silver coloured rim around the side of the phone which is claimed to be made of aluminium. Compared to Moto X, the Moto X+1 has been claimed to flaunt a 5.1 inch screen compared to the former which has a 4.7 inch screen size. The phone won’t have any capacitive button  but earpiece and loudspeaker have the placements like the one we have witnessed in the baby Moto E.

On the back of the mobile there is the traditional Motorola logo in black but it doesn’t seem to be like a dimple that we have seen in the other Moto series phones. Also the two white dots on the either side of the lens are claimed to be the dual LED flash. The cameras are expected to be 5 MP for secondary and 12 MP as primary. Like G and X, the Moto X+1 will have fixed internal memory and no MicroSD card slot.

The volume rocker and lock button will be placed on the right side and SIM card slot is claimed to be placed on the top with USB port as usual on the bottom. Other unconfirmed information about the phone includes a 32 GB memory with 2 GB RAM, 1080p screen, a snapdragon 800 processor and will be powered by a 2900mAh. Also a Brazilian retailer leaked that there is a microSD slot. So, as there are contradictions, we cannot say that the report/leak is cent per cent genuine or holds any truth.

Considering the timing of the leak, there is a point that this might be the new Motorola flagship. But whether it will be called Moto X+1 or something else, we will be only sure when new and more concrete evidence unveils in the upcoming days to support or refute this claim.

Motorola "Unlock My device" site has finally been released. By the help of this site, one can unlock the boot loaders of their Motorola device. With successful unlocking one will be able to install the 3rd Party applications in the devices. But, Motorola has added lots of warning in the process, but one finally although unlock their devices and enjoy the privileges of various applications developed by several 3rd party clients on their respective devices.

However, there were some requirements in order to use the Motorola Unlock My Device feature and successfully unlock the boot loaders. The essential requirement for the process includes Android DSK and also the drivers of Motorola that usually comes with the box of the cell. If you have those things installed, then the preceding steps are very simple and one has to just follow the on screen instruction given from the Motorola Unlock My Device Page.

One disadvantage about the unlocking feature is that only two phones and two tablets can be successfully unlocked at the current moment. Apple Android Survey revealed 48 percent of users chose Android over iPhone just for the carrier

Recently Apple has put up as survey to study why the users who are considering Apple are sticking to Android. After an extensive Apple Android survey they have concluded that the users considering Apple are still glued to Android, but there is nothing to do with this OS. 48 per cent stated that they choose Android over Apple mainly because they wanted to stay with their current service provider or carrier and not due to any special feature that the OS provides. The survey was started back in the month of January 2011 when Apple iPhone extended their offering through Verizon.

Other percentage of people has different causes to stay with Android. 36% has mentioned that they trust the Google brand while 27% are still sticking to Android due to the Android market. Certain other factors which are generally found in Android phones like larger screen and GPS turn by turn navigation came at 30% and 26% respectively. The graph below represents the outcome of the survey conducted by Apple. However it is to be noted that in an earlier version it is depicted that 43 per cent users preferred Android because of their service provider which now rose by 5 per cent to 48 per cent.

Also the current survey has indicated that about 25 per cent of Android users are considering shifting to iPhone at the moment. Thus the AT&T exclusivity of iPhone is proving to be a curse for Apple whereas Verizon Droid has undoubtedly proved to be a boon for the Android OS in the United States. If iPhone comes out of this exclusivity it might be able to grab an ample amount of the market and might also prove to be a heavy trouble over Android. After this survey it can be hoped that they might be extending their service through other providers but the surety of which can be provided by none but time.
