Blizzard Entertainment finally unveils Diablo III


Blizzard Entertainment has finally came up with their latest game Diablo III. The game was released on 15th of May, 2012 however it is planned to be released in Russia on 7th June this year. The game has set a new record with sales of 3.2 million copies on the first day of launch. This horror themed game by Blizzard looks really promising to give an ultimate gaming experience just like its predecessors in the series.

The game story revolves in the same old place like the last one that is the Sanctuary but 20 years advanced from the last game. Nephalem is the lead character in Diablo III. The story begins with Cain and Leah making some research. As the game progresses Nephalem tackles many obstacles to victory. Nephalem is betrayed by Leah’s mother and she resurrects Diablo who happens to be the Evil Prime. However Nephalem succeeds to finish Evil Prime before he could get control of the world by his dark powers.

In this latest instalment of the Diablo there were 5 character classes. The character classes are namely Monk, Witch Doctor, Barbarian, Demon Hunter and Wizard. Different classes have different abilities and also derive energy from different sources. However Blizzard Entertainment has plans to include Necromancer as the sixth class in future expansions. Unlike earlier version, one can choose their preferred gender of the characters in Diablo III. The gameplay will also include Followers and Artisans along with a lot of new and unique monsters. There is also one hard-core mode in which player gets only one life to spend and is basically designed for experts. One can also play in multiplayer mode via PvP through the internet.

Overall, the graphics quality of the game is superior compared to earlier versions. It is currently available for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS. The game needs a minimum 2GB RAM, 12GB hard disk free space and NVIDIA or RADEON graphics cards for optimum performance. It is 100% compatible with DirectX9 as such DirectX10 is not essential. In short, if one wants a dark fantasy game with hack and lash type of gameplay than Diablo III is the perfect one.
