Now, you can get App.net client for iOS directly from App Store.
Coded by Planet 1107 and designed by Marko Prljic of TwinkleTap, the Appnet
Rhino which is the collaboration of these two Croatian Companies has finally
unveiled the App.net app for iOS. Although this is not the first app to support
App.net for iOS, other app like Buffer has also been updated to support this
twitter-like service but it was not built from scratch like this one.
Also it has been reported that apart from Appnet Rhino many others
have also submitted App.net client for iOS to Apple. While the others are still
awaiting approval from Apple, this seems to be the first official App.net app
for iOS to appear in the list of the App Store.
As expected the features includes a home timeline, a section for
mentions stream and another for the global feeds. There are not much features
in this app and users also experienced errors in loading feeds occasionally. So,
improvements are expected in the coming future. But at the moment one can get
this App.net client for iOS from Appnet Rhino at free of cost from the App
Store.
