Finally LG Google TV users can reap the benefit from the
Amazon Instant Video app specially designed for LG Google TV. So it’s one more
new option in for the Google TV users to stream movies as well as video in
real-time. The new app promises to offer better and easy streaming according to
reports.
What is new about this Amazon Instant Video app is that it
will be merging the services of other apps like Netflix, HBO Go and other apps
which are available for LG Google TV currently. As such user can enjoy the services
provided by other apps in one single application. Earlier the in-built browser was
doing okay with the streaming but obviously the customers wish for convenience
and the standalone apps are the answers to it.
Only a handful devices support the app
currently. Compatibility is variable depending of the device you use although
Amazon has pushed out a list of supported hardware. However, Google has
highlighted the availability of the app in LG HDTVs with Google TV. Android
users seem to be looking forward to get hands over the app, but unfortunately
it is not available for Androids. At the moment only a few devices supports it,
but Amazon Instant Video app is expected to add more devices to their arsenal
soon.
