AirType - the keyboardless keyboard for phones and tablets

Have you ever imagined about a keyboardless keyboard for phones and tablets that allows you to type on any surface and frees you from typing hassles on the tiny screens or carrying and external keyboard? Texas based technology firm is about to turn this imagination into reality with their project called AirType, which allows you to input text virtually from any surface.
Starting with type-writers, since the last 150 years the typing method had remained more or less the same with input made through a hardware keyboard or through onscreen keyboards. But AirType keyboardless keyboard is going to revolutionize the way people type. With just two devices worn on the palm, now one can make inputs in their tablets or phone by wiggling their fingers on any surface.

Don’t worry that there is no keyboard underneath your palms and that you will misspell.  AirType uses artificial intelligence that learns the habit of your typing or your typing patterns. Also text prediction have been claimed to be the better compared to any other software in the market. For ease of carrying the devices can be clipped to tablets when on the go for convenience. Although currently in the prototype stage, the AirType keyboardless keyboard is expected to revolutionize the text input method in the near future.
