How to enable Google Chrome offline mode?

You can enable Google Chrome offline mode by this method which will let you work with it even when not connected to the internet. It is based on saving of files in the cache. We already have seen this feature in Internet Explorer and Firefox. They have a specific setting for that purpose. You can change your browser, but of course Chrome is simpler and faster and you might be wondering how to work offline in Google Chrome? But, Chrome doesn’t have such setting at this moment. But that is not a problem. You can still enable the Google Chrome Offline mode in just the following few easy steps.

The browser usually shows the little black and white dinosaur when you are offline, but with this method you can view all the recently visited pages that are stored in the cache. Working offline may be necessary when you are away from a network or you are in a flight. So, before you could work offline in Google Chrome, you’ll first have to enable Google Chrome Offline mode. To do this, in the address bar of your browser type this:  chrome://flags/#enable-offline-mode . A page will open where you’ll have to click on the enable button as shown below.

After you have enabled Google Chrome offline mode, you’ll have to restart the browser. Now, you’ll be able to work offline in Google chrome. This option will save the webpages as a whole, so the pages will look more or less same as the online version. However, java scripts and widgets that require an active internet connection might not be displayed properly. To see if the Google Chrome Offline mode is working properly or not, open a page in your browser. This will save the page in automatically in the cache. After that disconnect your internet and restart the browser again. If you had been correctly able to enable Google Chrome offline mode, then the cached version of the webpage will load.
