Like the other windows phones this phone will also run in Windows OS but the latest version Mango which happens to be Windows 7.5. The good thing is that Nokia announced it to be a budget phone, so it will be the cheapest Windows phone among the Lumias.

About the release of the phone to the market, they have made an announcement that the new Nokia Lumia 610 will be launched on some event at the UK next month at June. However, earlier in this year at the Mobile World Congress, the developing version of the phone has first made its appearance.

Apart from the Windows 7.5 OS, the phone will sport a 3.7 inch display protected by Gorilla Glass. This is undoubtedly very efficient in guarding the screen from scratches. It will also come with a LED flash assisted 5 mega pixel camera. The camera will feature face detection also. The phone will be equipped with a processor of 800 MHz which is considerably fast. The phone will feature an 8GB storage capacity with 256MB RAM, how every there is no provision for memory expansion due to lack to card slot. In conclusion, as a phone it is a decent one if you want to get a Windows mobile in budget. However, it lacks memory card slot and doesn’t offer any special feature, but for a cheap windows phone at an economic price it is feasible. It is to be noted here that along with this Nokia Lumia 610 budget phone; they had also released one new premium phone with a 41 Mega pixel camera the Nokia 808 PureView.
